Terms of Use for Remote Hub
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Billionweb, Singapore ("we", "us") about your use of the Remote Hub Android app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What the app does
Remote Hub lets you discover and control compatible smart TVs and streaming devices on your local Wi-Fi network from your phone. The Cast tab opens Android's system casting or screen mirroring settings; Remote Hub does not capture or stream your screen itself. For photos and videos you select, the app opens a compatible media app with temporary access to that item. The selected app handles playback or casting. Availability depends on your phone, TV or receiver, compatible apps, firmware and network. We do not guarantee that every TV or every function is supported.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Android devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non commercial use, in accordance with these terms and the Google Play terms of service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sub license the app, reverse engineer or decompile it except where the law expressly allows, remove any proprietary notices, or use it in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
3. Acceptable use
Only use Remote Hub with devices you own or are allowed to control. Do not use it to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any device or network. Do not use the app to display, mirror or transmit content that you do not have the right to use.
4. Free version, ads and Premium
The app is free to download. The free version shows advertisements. Remote Hub Premium is an optional auto renewing subscription that removes ads and unlocks premium features.
- The current Premium plan renews weekly. Eligible users may be offered a 3-day free trial. The price, billing period and any trial available to you are shown in the app and on Google Play before you confirm your subscription. Trial eligibility is determined by Google Play.
- If you accept a free trial, the first subscription charge occurs when the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends. Without a free trial, payment is charged when you confirm the purchase. The subscription then renews automatically, with payment charged at the start of each new billing period unless you cancel before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, using the Google account that made the purchase. You can also open subscription management from the app's Settings. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge, or before the next renewal to stop future charges.
- Cancelling stops future renewals and does not automatically refund a payment already made. You can continue using Premium until the end of the applicable trial or paid period. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.
- If an active purchase is not recognised, sign in to Google Play with the account used to purchase it and choose Restore purchases on the Premium screen. Restoring checks for an existing active purchase; it does not create a new subscription or make a new purchase.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Contact us if you have a problem with a purchase and we will do our best to help.
- Prices may change. We will give you notice through Google Play before any change takes effect, and you will be able to cancel before it applies.
5. Third party devices and services
TV brands, streaming platforms and app names shown in Remote Hub are trademarks of their respective owners. Remote Hub is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Samsung, LG, Sony, Roku, Amazon, Google, TCL, Hisense, Philips, Vizio, Panasonic or any other manufacturer. Manufacturers may change or remove the interfaces the app relies on at any time, which can stop features from working.
6. Privacy
How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any feature at any time, with or without notice. Updates may be installed automatically through Google Play. We are not obliged to provide support or maintenance.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, icons and text are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the app will work with your TV, be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ten Singapore dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 8 to 13 survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim locally.
