Terms of use
Effective date: 23 September 2026
These terms describe your use of SignLeaf and its subscriptions. Questions and support requests go to the SignLeaf developer at arshpreet@billionweb.co.
App license and Apple
SignLeaf is licensed, not sold. The app license is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These service terms supplement that agreement; they are not a custom EULA. If they conflict on the app license, Apple's standard EULA governs, subject to mandatory local law.
The app's developer, rather than Apple, is responsible for SignLeaf and its support, as provided in the standard EULA. App Store transactions are also subject to Apple's applicable terms.
What SignLeaf does
SignLeaf lets you scan paper documents or import photos, images and PDF files, capture your signature or initials with the camera, a photo, an image file or by drawing with your finger, clean up and reuse that handwriting, and add text, dates and checkmarks. You can save a signed document as a PDF containing all pages, or as one PNG or JPG image per page.
An output requires at least one visible handwritten signature or initial on the document. The current app does not export unsigned documents or a standalone signature image. Scanning, signature storage, editing and previewing are available without a subscription, subject to your device's available storage and capabilities.
You may use only content and signatures you own or have permission to use. Do not impersonate someone, forge a signature or authorization, or violate another person's rights. You retain your rights in your documents and signatures; we do not claim ownership of them.
Signatures you use
Capture, draw, import and place only your own signature or initials, or a signature that its owner has clearly authorized you to use for that document. Do not photograph, scan or import another person's signature to sign as them without their permission. Using a signature without authority can be forgery or fraud and may be unlawful.
By saving a signature in SignLeaf, you confirm that it is yours or that you have permission to use it. You are responsible for every signature you place and for having the authority to sign each document. SignLeaf cannot check who a signature belongs to.
Signing and checking your work
SignLeaf places an image of handwriting on a document. It does not verify a signer's identity or authority, provide notarization or a digital-signature certificate, or create a tamper-proof audit trail. Acceptance and legal effect depend on the document, recipient and applicable law. Check that this signing method is suitable for your intended use.
Review every page for legibility, missing content and correct placement before sending it. Lighting, paper quality, source images and device storage can affect results. A completed share sheet does not prove that another person received or accepted a document.
Free saves and paid access
The first three distinct documents successfully saved in SignLeaf can be saved without a subscription. After that allowance is used, saving another new signed document requires active subscription access. A failed or cancelled save does not consume the allowance. Re-saving a document that has already been successfully saved, including in another format, does not consume another free document.
Successful saves during a trial or paid subscription also count toward that document history. Deleting documents or allowing a subscription to expire does not reset it. A subscription offer may appear after onboarding or in Profile; you can close it and continue with available free features. Payment is required only when saving a new document beyond the allowance.
Weekly subscriptions and free trials
- Access: SignLeaf offers a weekly auto-renewable subscription that removes the limit on new signed-document saves while access is active. It does not add cloud storage or document recovery.
- Price: the subscription screen and Apple's confirmation show the actual weekly price in your App Store currency before purchase. Prices and offers can vary by storefront and offer assignment. The price shown for your purchase applies; no single price on this website overrides it.
- Trial: a three-day introductory free trial is available only if Apple determines that you are eligible and the app explicitly shows the offer. If no trial is shown, payment starts when you confirm the purchase. Any unused trial portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable under Apple's terms.
- Billing and renewal: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a paid purchase, or after the displayed free trial ends. The subscription automatically renews each week until cancelled. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends at the applicable renewal price.
- Cancellation: cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. Use Profile → Manage Subscription, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You can also open Apple's subscription management page. Deleting the app or your documents does not cancel billing.
After cancellation, access follows the status Apple reports; a cancelled free trial may end immediately. Expiration does not delete local documents, saved signatures or completed files. Free scanning and editing remain available, but new document saves beyond the allowance require renewed access.
Restore purchases and refunds
Use Restore Purchases in Profile or on the subscription screen with the Apple Account used for the purchase. An internet connection may be needed to load offers, purchase, restore or refresh access. Pending payment or approval does not guarantee immediate access. A restore can recover an eligible active subscription on a supported device; it does not restore documents or signatures from another device.
Apple handles App Store billing and refund decisions. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. A request does not guarantee a refund. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Local storage and availability
SignLeaf stores your work on your iPhone and excludes its document folder from device backups. It provides no SignLeaf account, cloud sync or server recovery. Keep exported copies of important documents in a location you control. Deleting content, removing the app or erasing the device can permanently remove local work.
We may update the app to maintain compatibility, correct errors and improve features. Other apps and storage services you select have their own terms and availability. The warranties, liability provisions and applicable-law provisions in Apple's standard EULA apply to the app license, subject to rights and protections that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy, contact and changes
Our Privacy policy explains local content handling, default-enabled usage and diagnostics, purchases, Apple Ads measurement, retention and privacy requests. Visit SignLeaf Support for help or email arshpreet@billionweb.co.
We will publish revisions here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice where required. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law or Apple's purchase terms.
