Privacy policy
This policy covers Fingerprint Animations for Android, package com.fingerprintanimationlock3d.prismforge, and these legal and support pages. “We” and “our” refer to the app’s developer, whom you can contact at arshpreet@billionweb.co for privacy questions and requests.
Imported photos stay on your device. The app does not collect fingerprints or biometric templates. If you choose cloud AI generation, your description is sent to Firebase and OpenAI to create and safety-check a wallpaper. Advertising, analytics and crash reporting process the information described below.
1. Wallpapers and device storage
Wallpaper choices, imported photos, saved designs, favorites and editor preferences are stored in the app’s private device storage. Imported photos are not uploaded by the app. Exporting an image saves a copy to the destination you choose through Android’s file picker. A destination or sharing service you choose may process that copy under its own policy.
The app does not read contacts, collect precise GPS location, scan fingerprints, or replace your device’s biometric security. Bundled wallpapers and effects can be browsed offline.
2. Cloud AI generation and safety
When you request an AI wallpaper, we send your description through our Firebase backend to OpenAI for image generation and safety checks. OpenAI also receives a pseudonymous Firebase user identifier with the generation request, and the generated image is checked for unsafe content. Imported photos are not included. Please avoid putting personal or confidential information in descriptions.
Firebase creates an anonymous sign-in identity to authorize requests and enforce usage limits; you do not enter an email address or password for this identity. The backend stores this identifier, usage counters, request identifiers, timestamps, a hash of the description, generation status and the generated image’s storage location. The app’s backend does not intentionally log raw descriptions or store them in generation records. Firebase App Check and related Google services process app and device attestation information to protect the service against misuse.
Generated images are stored privately for delivery and download recovery. Reporting a generated wallpaper sends its request identifier and your anonymous Firebase identity to the developer for review; the associated cloud image can be reviewed while retained. Reports are private and are not posted to other users.
3. Analytics and crash diagnostics
Release versions use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app use and improve the app. Events include screen visits, onboarding, wallpaper actions, saves, exports, purchase outcomes and AI-generation outcomes. Google’s SDKs can process installation or app-instance identifiers, device and app information, session information, approximate location derived from IP addresses and interaction data. Linked Google services measure purchase and advertising revenue and the performance of acquisition campaigns.
Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports, stack traces, diagnostic information, installation identifiers, device details and app versions to identify and fix failures. Crash reporting is enabled in release versions independently of the advertising and analytics consent choices. Our custom analytics events and diagnostic messages do not contain your descriptions, imported photos, image paths, payment-card details or purchase tokens.
4. Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Google and the advertising partners identified in the consent form may process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP, ad interactions, app interactions and diagnostics to deliver ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. Advertising revenue and conversion information can be shared with linked Firebase, Google Analytics and Google Ads services for measurement and campaign optimization.
Where applicable, the privacy form lets you accept, reject or manage the presented purposes and partners. You can revisit available choices under Settings → Ad privacy. Advertising storage, advertising-data use, ad personalization and analytics storage follow the regional consent signals supplied by the form. Unknown or unconfigured purposes remain denied. Where consent is denied, Google’s advanced Consent Mode may still send limited measurement signals without analytics or advertising storage. Android also provides advertising-ID controls.
An active, verified Plus subscription removes in-app ads. It does not by itself disable crash diagnostics or change your analytics choices. We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Subscriptions and support
Google Play processes subscription payments, trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds. The app receives product, entitlement and purchase-status information and purchase identifiers to recognize and acknowledge purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Google services may also measure subscription and purchase revenue.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use that information to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information.
6. Service providers and international processing
We use Google/Firebase for hosting, anonymous authentication, app verification, private image storage, analytics and crash reporting; Google AdMob and its disclosed partners for advertising; and OpenAI for requested image generation and safety checks. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, protect users and the service, or carry out a business transfer with appropriate safeguards and notice.
The generation backend is hosted in Singapore. Providers may process information in other countries under their applicable terms, privacy policies and transfer safeguards. 7. Retention and deletion
- Device data: stays until you delete it or clear the app’s storage. Uninstalling removes private app storage. Exported files remain in their chosen destination until you delete them separately.
- Generated cloud images: scheduled for deletion after seven days. Storage cleanup is asynchronous; Google Cloud’s recovery retention may keep recoverable copies for a further seven days.
- Generation records and content reports: marked to expire after seven days; automatic deletion may take additional processing time.
- Anonymous identity and usage counters: are separate from image records and do not automatically expire after seven days. They remain until deleted and support authentication, quotas and abuse prevention.
- Analytics, diagnostics, support and transaction records: follow the applicable service settings and retention policies, the time needed to resolve a request, and any legal, security or accounting obligations. The seven-day image schedule does not apply to these records or to OpenAI’s processing.
You can request deletion of cloud records associated with your use by emailing arshpreet@billionweb.co. Because the app uses an anonymous identity, your email alone may not identify your app records. We may ask for limited information to locate the relevant records and verify the request, and will explain if a record cannot be matched. See the data-deletion page for instructions. Clearing storage or uninstalling does not delete provider-held records or cancel a subscription.
8. Security and your rights
The app disables cleartext network traffic and uses encrypted connections to its cloud services. Cloud access is restricted using authentication, app verification and access rules. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local privacy authority. Contact the developer using the address above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. We handle requests subject to applicable law and may retain limited records where required for legal or security reasons.
Where applicable, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics purposes that require it, providing the requested service for wallpaper generation and purchases, legitimate interests for service security, troubleshooting and support, and legal obligations where required.
9. Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and address it.
10. This website and policy updates
These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising or cookies to them. GitHub may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to host and secure the site; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.
We may update this policy when the app, services or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
